Hi folks

Just traded in my '04 plate 2.0 Sport 4dr for a brand new 61-plate 5dr Takuya.

I loved my old Sport, but with 89K on the clock and a few things starting to go wrong with it, it was time to trade it in. It would have cost me more to keep it on the road for a year than it was actually worth. I'd had it for 5 years, and aside from a nasty accident on an ungritted road a couple of years ago it gave me no trouble at all. Definitely the best car I've ever had.

Picked up my new car on Friday and I love it. Really sporty looks, cracking interior, and a hell of a lot quieter than my old Sport - very little road noise. The current deal of £13,995 seems a bargain. It's a lot of car for the money. I appreciate that it's only a 1.6, but reduced fuel bills, lower tax, and cheaper insurance all add up to it looking like a decent option.

Let's hope this car is as good as my last one!  ;D
