Got sorted with my grille!  Only taken me several months to get round to it haha.

Started off by doing the silver trim either side of my fogs for a practice go, plus I've not seen a Fabia done like this so thought it would be different..

Then sorted out my new rear badge..

On with the grille and front badge..

Overall I'm well happy with the result, no more nasty chrome.  Think I'll be changing the badges again for a standard looking black and silver badge, but not sure yet (thoughts on the current badges welcome).
Still not got the lamin-x on but will get round to it soon.  Wheels and rarb still gathering dust in the garage lol.

This wee beast will be keeping me busy for a couple of days.  A customer sold his Discovery to buy a Defender 130, it fecking huge and in a right state, but he wont be getting it resprayed until next year so has asked me to detail it the best I can.

Fitted the HID's this week, they are superb, really make a BIG difference, well happy with them.  Couldn't get them to work 1st time I tried, but was detailing a couple of Range Rovers the other day and the ****** one had an aftermarket kit like mine so was able to see how to do it.  Have had to dip the lights slightly to prevent glare (the last thing I want is to bother other drivers) and they are just fine.  The actual road and kerbs are light up bright white and the lights themselves are white but slightly blue from a distance.  Anyway like I said, very happy.  Light smoke Lamin-X on the headlights and clear section of the the rears next.

Also got round to using my AG Aquawax today (Paul/Duc's recommendation).  Great for a quick clean/top up, can thoroughly recommend this stuff, but I dont think the bottle will last too long so quite pricey.  I woudlnt want to put it on a car that didnt have a few coats of a decent wax on already, although I think it will be quite durable as felt a lot "stickier" than other wet waxes I've used.

Had them on my FTO and is a massive difference dude. The lights were shocking. Only thing that annoyed me was when one of the ballasts died...arrrr!

The mods continue..

Whats next?

Yeah mate theyre mint :P

It can get pricey from here really, but still got my Jabba rarb to fit (which looks like fun) and my TT alloys that need a refurb or maybe even a vinyl wrap.  Door strips coming off very soon and spare set of door handles are waitig to be painted.  Clutch is getting worse so would love to uprate it, but expensive.

A couple of grand for 170 turbo and an fmic would be cool but it aint gonna happen :(
