Help needed, light installation!
« on: October 23, 2010, 09:01:26 PM »
Hi guys hard to describe the mod’s I'm considering really so I'll post pictures when they are done. Just need to know the answers to a few of questions.
(I own a 2006 1.6 Mazda 3 TS)
1)   Can I tap into the electric window or mirrors switch for a reliable source of 12v power?
2)   Can the centre armrest / storage unit cover be removed (just the top leather cover).

I’ll also post a walk through for the mod’s I do if anyone’s interested.
Kind Regards,
Mike

Yes and Yes i think, best place to get you 12v's i the cingarette, lighter, if you want the mods if there lights to be on when only the door are open, this can done via the connect at the bottom of the glovebox

Cheers mate. Ideally the lights would only be on when my head-lights are but as long as they are on while the car is in motion thats fine :P
