How many miles has your car done ?  As it is an 06 it must still be under warranty and as such oil changes are part of the service schedule/warranty requirements.
I may be wrong here, but I think that you should be leaving the filter change up to a qualified fitter who is required to sign up your service schedule book in order to maintain your warranty.

As a partial answer, most oil filters have the same generic fitting, either screw on type or box filter type, but with individual idiosyncrasies to match the car make/model. That is why there are so many

Thanks for that.  Wasn't going to change the filters yet was thinking about doing it after the car was out of the warranty, and leave the garage to do it when It goes in for it's service.  Was just looking under the bonnet to see what stuff I can do myself once the warranty period is over.

Thanks for the input.
