VW Lupos
« on: February 01, 2010, 04:00:05 PM »
I've been visiting car showrooms all weekend with my wife to look for some new wheels for her.
Her old Mk1 Punto has been moved on and she's getting a '55 plate 1.0 VW Lupo in great condition. Flat as the proverbial but ideal for her as she never goes out of town on her own. Lupos had been a bit below my radar but they seem to have an active bunch of fans - there are 10,500 members on the Club Lupo forum. I didn't realise they did a GTi, and they are mad for lowering & otherwise pimping them !  Trying to get Mrs to consider bigger alloys!

Lol, seen a few GTI's they have a single exit exhaust in the middle of the rear bumper, bety they are nippy little things.

Seem to be a forum for all cars!
Who needs 4 wheels when you have 2??? Bike it baby!!!!

They are pretty nippy 125bhp 0-60 in about 8 seconds i think, i looked at them before i got my C2 VTS. The lupo was group 11 i think and my VTS was only 8 so i chose the VTS instead :p
