As above, intrigued to know what engine is going in.

I like it, considered downsizing to a Mazda 2 - really impressed with the one I test drove but a bit too small.

I really like the front end but the back is a bit bland.

A bit more work on the exhaust set up would improve the looks, e.g. dual exits like 2nd gen mps or a bigger can, twin pipes etc

Agree front end looks great but rear is disappointing  :(

Looking forward to seeing the new 6 MPS and what that will look like with the way mazda is beefing the MPS cars up.

The 1st 3MPS has no bonnet scoop, & it has the 2.3disi.

I know it's a personal thing, but I wouldnt buy it if it had a bonnet scoop.
I'd feel too much of a "council-estate-chav-bell-end".

Each to their own of course  ;)

I like the fact Mazda have chosen to show off the 5 door version. The Corsa is 3 door and no doubt the hot fiesta will be aswell. That alone could lead to more sales.

I wonder if Mazda has blacked out the windows to hide whats inside or can the Americans drive with windows that are so tinted?.

They can tint away with no probs. As the windscreen is tinted assume not finished article by any means. I think it will be a great little car that will appeal to 18 year olds an maybe women but i would be a bit embarressed driving it  :-\ its like it wants to be a hot hatch but it isnt. Maybe it is bigger than i think so will be ok.
