Official Mazda certification....
« on: March 13, 2007, 10:08:03 AM »
I will shortly be writing to Mazda UK about our forums. I am hoping to be able to persuade them to make it the 1st official Mazda 3 Sponsored forum for the UK... With their backing and advertising on their Owners Club section, http://www.mazda.co.uk/Owning/OwnerClubs/, i am hoping we can attract more members. Also i was thinking of allowing Mazda their own user profile as regualar member, moderator or a global moderator, whichever, so they can post their News for us,the customers, and potential customers...  ??? ???

wot u guys think of that?  ??? ???

Obviously, the more support the better - do they post such information on forums, etc?  It'd be cool if they would though :)

No harm in asking. the more people, the better the forum becomes, more input, more expertise etc.

They may want to keep detached in an official capacity as manufacturers and dealers get arsey when people start naming and shaming online. It would be great if we could get a mazda tech on board to ask daft questions about spurious noises our cars make.

So because the MX-5 Owners club is an independant organisation and we are only a forum they don't want to  know ?
Hmmmm Stuffed shirts.

Notice his title (Brand Analyst) DOESN'T include the 3 .  does that seem strange to you ?

I suppose if they recognised EVERY forum that popped up then they would leave themselves open to all manner of problems.

Reply and ask them why; when the figures show that the 3 is now their biggest selling export car; do they not launch a site similar to the community site for the MX-5; purely for the 3.

Quote "" Exports have exceeded the figures for the same month of the previous
year for 19 consecutive months since August 2005, with an increase of
6.5% year-on-year in February 2007 attributable to the addition of CX-7
and CX-9 exports and an increase in Mazda3 exports. Total export figures
reached their highest level for any February in the last 14 years.

On a market basis, exports to North America were particularly healthy,
reaching 27,141 units (up 37.5% year-on-year) mainly due to the CX-9 and
Mazda3.

--Exports of key models in February 2007--

CX-7: 4,212 units (no year-on-year comparison available)
CX-9: 3,556 units (no year-on-year comparison available)
Mazda3: 32,413 units (up 8.2 % year-on-year)""
