i went to my local kwick fit yesterday.. and they refused to check the A/C systems.. they say my car is still new and there really shouldnt be a problem with it. i told them that it just wasnt cool enough.. the man goes to me there is nothing they can do.. and that i should take my car to my dealership.. but Mazda only give you 12 months warranty on the A/C system.. means i'm gonna have to lose £100 from my wallet for them to check this..  >:( >:(

Sorry this is dragging up an old topic lads,
But did youget your aircon done neel?
Any local independant garage with the right
kit can do it for you ranging in prie between
50 and 100 quid. Another thing is it's also
worth having your cabin filter changed as well,
specially if you smell a musty odour in the cabin

Neel - true your air con should be fine as your cars quite new. However, on that link of Mazda service bulletins I did see one on air con not being cool enough - despite air con being charged. Something to do with a modified cabin thingy as the older one doesn't put the air across the whole cabin thingy.

On separate note getting your air con charged at Kwick Fit is dangerous. They can really mess it up, professional air con charging is about £85.

My air con has been fine all sumer but now I've had to start putting it on heat, its started to smell again. Needs a good blast down the motorway with the fan on full and the temp set to 29 degrees. Windows open obviously!
