I have changed the standard bulbs in the front roof lamp with white single led bulbs.
i want to change the bulb in the centre of the roof aswell.
i have looked on ebay and i think i need a festoon bulb length 31mm - is this correct ?
+ there seems so many to choose from with different amounts of leds in the bulb, some have 3 upto about 12 leds inside.
those of you that have upgraded to led what have you fitted ?

Do you mean the map lights at the front or the rear courtesy lights in the roof?

Replaced the old stock interior bulbs with some white Led's, a lot brighter and well worth it,
a little tip when removing the front map lights so you don't damage the roof lining, i slid a clean three inch wide scraper between the roof lining and the light surround, pushed the screwdriver in and the light surround just popped out.  ;D ;D

Also did this to mine, made a huge difference. So much so that my wife wants me to fit some to her car as well!
The festoon bulbs for the rear interior and boot were more difficult. They are 31mm but even when I ordered some from ebay longer ones arrived. I had to a bit of modding to make them fit but its certainly worth it. I haven't been brave enough to do the glove box yet.

For  a few quid it makes a big difference, if you search the forum there is a very good walk through on how to do the glove box light.
Tell the wife Leds are only suitable for Mazda cars  ;D ;D ;D

Sorry but im struggling to find the right bulbs. I've bought these ones:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320627405249?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
... and they didn't work at all. Im trying to find some answers if my car needs the canbus error free ones or not?

Anyone?

Just before you go any further LED bulbs are terminal sensitive. i.e they only go in one way round. Have you tried this ?
