Mazda CX-7

The Mazda CX-7 is set to shake up the motoring world.

The Mazda CX-7 blends the sure-footed attributes of an SUV with the rewarding performance of a sports car, offering a compelling alternative for those with a spirit for adventure.

With its broad, powerful shoulders, coupe-like roofline and imposing 18" alloy wheels, the new Mazda CX-7 boldly signals its sporting intent. Beneath the sweeping bonnet the 258ps, 2.3-litre turbocharged engine delivers its impressive power through a slick-shifting 6-speed manual transmission to either the front or all four wheels, as the conditions demand, to provide a confidence-inspiring drive that is sure to entertain.

With high levels of standard specification including a BOSE® premium audio system, leather seats and climate control air-conditioning, up to five passengers can travel in comfort and style.

Set to launch in the UK later this year, the Mazda CX-7 is the ideal choice for today's urban lifestyle.

Yep, in place of the nice petrol engine

from autoexpress

The 2.3-litre turbo unit has been ditched altogether for the UK leaving the excellent diesel as your only option

Took my courtesy car back on Saturday seen as mine is still in there getting fixed and got my eye on one of these brutes standing outside.

@ £25k its a bit out of my price range but my missus also took a shine to it. Salesman told me it will be up for sale in 3 months once it has achieved some devaluation.

nice.....

Someone at work who is the king of thrift (the kindest way to describe him) has told me that a U.K broker is offering the petrol beast for £12995 brand new! Don't know how much truth is in it,still searching the net.

Ben, I think he was talking poo to be honest. Ive been searching for ages but used ones on a 58 reg are going for £13-15k through Mazda main delaers. Gutted.
I am tempted by one, I really like the look. The new diesel ones go for £25k but to have a £12k saving by buying petrol has to be the thing to do. Even with the high tax and lower economy, it would take a long time for the diesel to be a saving. Time to get the calculator out......
