Condensation issues on a 2013 Tamura 1.6d

I have a big problem with condensation issues on my 37K Tamura 2013 1.6 diesel. In the autumn and winter months all the windows are misted up most mornings, and in freezing weather there is ice on the windscreen internally. The pollen filter was replaced in 2019, so may be due for renewal, and i do not know if my model has a cabin filter and where it is, as it is not mentioned in the main dealer service history anywhere. The boot spare wheel well is bone dry, so no issues there. I have tried a moisture trap device and it has improved things slightly, but the problem remains. Any advice from you guys would be most welcome

Hmm do you have sweet like smell in the car,if so it could be a leak on your heater core.If not the core,your drains might be blocked...


Yes they have cabin air filters(2 of them one on top of the other),it's relatively easy to replace

Thanks for the heads up, Amar. There is a kind of sweet smell when the what i call the blowers are on. I will set about changing the filters and see if that does the trick, however i do not think that will solve the problem to be honest. Thanks again for the heads up.
