i have a 2005 3 sport 2.0l. i just rebuilt the engine and since refitting runs fine...but its developed an ecu fault. a few things dont work and the ignition keeps dropping out.
no fault codes but my reader keeps aborting the test and says there is an ecu fault.
it may have something to do with the ecu falling and a pile of other stuff falling on it when it was off the car.
my question is...i am going to get a used ecu off ebay(with all the other stuff..key,dials etc but my ecu is number LF50 18 881F. the ecus on ebay are suffix E or H. do we know whats different in the E,F or H ecus and will it matter if i fit all the other stuff along with the ecu???
