Bluetooth phone issues

When i have my phone connected to my car via bluetooth and im using the phone with Google maps you cant get any sound through either the phone or car, but if i switch off bluetooth i can get sound through the phone, is there a way to fix it so i can get sound with bluetooth switched on? Car Mazda 3, Phone Huawei P20 pro. TIA

Have you checked your phones settings? Make sure its connected as a media device not earphones.

I think you will find that its the chinese govt spyware installed on your phone thats the problem >:D

Guys i got sorted earlier, i needed to select Bluetooth audio in the car.
