Hello from Norwich
« on: August 26, 2019, 07:07:41 AM »

Hello all,

New member here, in Norwich, Norfolk. I run a metallic white Mazda 3 Venture  (Venture doesn't appear on the drop-down list of trim spec to select when registering). It is a January 2013 reg on a 62 plate, I bought it in January 2016 on 30,000 miles and it has now only done 44,500. It is completely factory standard and unmodified, all I have added are a set of 4 mudflaps and 4 HEKO wind deflectors.
I'm keen to get involved with shows and runs out around Norfolk. More to follow later.
Call me "N-Dog", that is the tag I go by, though it seems there may already be an N-Dog on here as I couldn't use it as a user name.

Welcome to the forum N-Dog

Just to explain. The Venture. Takuya. Takara  and other variants were special one offs where Mazda put together a package that had slightly different specs but were not a long term production run.
Hence they were never included in the drop down fields.

Thank you for joining us. I hope that you will get some responses.

Hello Neil and welcome!

One benefit you luckily have is that you are close to one of the most highly rated Mazda main dealers in the UK (regularly winning awards for customer service) in Wrights Mazda.

Goodbye from Norwich

Cheerio...!

Just a quick note to say Goodbye and Thank You to all, as after four and a half years of ownership I'm letting my January 2013 (62) Mazda 3 1.6 Venture go. It has been a superb car, faultless, but the bottom line is I want an automatic, and I'm not keen on the later shape 3's. So on Saturday 1st August she is being traded in at Vertu Nottingham for a 2019 (69) Golf 150 DSG TSI EVO R-Line.
If you're in the Nottingham area and in the market for a decent, reliable 3, give them a call - the car is easily good enough to sell it retail off their forecourt. Whether or not they choose to do so, is anyone's guess. It's on 47,000 miles, metallic white, underbody Waxoyled 18 months ago, has 4 wind deflectors, 4 mud flaps, road-legal blue-tint xenons, a rubber boot liner, a good service history (serviced in January 2020 at Wrights of Norwich) and an MOT to January.

As there is no 'delete profile' button on here, all that remains is to say "Thank You" to all, "Goodbye, and Good Luck".

Fair well. Your account will always remain here in case there ever comes a time you might wish to buy another Mazda.   Good luck with the VW,
