Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
« on: July 29, 2019, 10:00:23 AM »
I have a sSport Black 2018, the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System seems to activate when my pressures are high?
First time it went off, I done a visual check all looked OK, at home check the pressures and they were OK, reset the system.
Some weeks later had the same experience again checked at home all OK.
I now keep both pressure gauge and pump in car, alarm has gone off a number of times, it seems that if it is a hot day and I have been motoring at 50 -60 mph for around 1hr 30mins the alarm will sound.
If I check as soon as safe to do so the pressures are approx +5psi, when tyres are cold pressures are back to normal.
Is the system working correctly?
Car is due for 1st service shortly,  can this be adjusted /correctly set up or is this a fault.
