Is this car going to be placed between the CX3 and CX5 in the SUV range? I'd imagine that will be pricey.
I thought Mazda already did a CX-4 (which is what the CX-30 really is) for the foreign market (Asia). We get a far smaller range of their cars - no CX-7 any more, no CX-9 either, and until recently, no 2.5L petrol (N/A or turbocharged). The new 2.0 SCCI engine aside, the ones I was liking was the 2.5L & 2.5L trubo petrols in auto form. Sadly only available in North America and Down Under. We just get the underpowered 1.5 and 2.0 ones up till now. Here's hoping they expand their UK range, especially in the engine department.
Still not impressed with the apparent lack of performance of the reworked standard 2.0 petrol in the gen-4 Mazda3 though - my query over the oddities bewteen the manual and auto and petrol and diesel 0-60 times were not really answered by Mazda except for confirming the numbers.
