Does anyone know if it's possible to remove the "Agree to drive safely" message and the "look around you son, see if you've missed anything" Or can you shorten the time it takes for them to display? ???

https://mazdatweaks.com

Not officially sanctioned but I beleive swampy on here installed it without incident and as well as allowing Android auto you can kill off the messages.

Very much at your own risk though.

Thanks for the reply SteveRB45. I've had a look on the link you gave me and it tells me that Version 59.00102 and upwards cannot be tweaked. Mine is that version. However, this https://mazdatweaks.com/serial/  by Albuyeh shows a way to do it. But way beyond my technical ability I'm afraid.

Yeah, I'm in IT and that looked a bit too much for me too. Fortunately I read it before going in for the last service and told them not to update so I'm still on an unblocked old version, 56 something I think.

Are there any disadvantages of staying on version 56 Swampy?

I presume there are, but not having 59 can't say what's been upgraded.   ???

I'd read of the incompatibilities beforehand and just told them not to do the upgrade this time so I wouldn't be impacted.
