A Little Premature
« on: June 22, 2018, 10:56:52 PM »
Well! Very slightly premature, but today I've finally put a deposit on a used Mazda. Had a go in a Sport Nav, opted for the SE-L though, I didn't feel that excited by the sport extras. Also, for some reason, I found starting and stopping in that one a bit jumpy for some reason. So, next weekend I'm due to pick up a 2017 SE-L in deep blue, by the look of it. Which is a very deep blue, I could easily have said it was black at a glance.

Coventry Mazda seem to be doing quite well so far, I was there a good few hours and never wanted for attention. I felt a bit bad about the guy who was getting shouted at on the shop floor about the gap that the car I took out for a drive came out of, though.

My first Mazda, second car after my current Corsa. Had a look at a couple of things, briefly considered a Golf, Focus (but not a Vauxhall). Can't remember why I first thought of Mazda, but to be honest part of the attraction was the looks. Thought about waiting for the new model, but couldn't. I'm looking forward to air con that works. And being able to overtake!

Done it! Picked up on Saturday. It's showing dirt already. Seems to be quite good at collecting insects too.

Great, the deep blue is a nice colour.Hope it serves you well.  Did you go for any paint protection on it?
I have guard x on mine and it seems to do a good job. I had a paint protection on my previous 3 SPORT and  was really impressed  it kept the paint shinning  like new when cleaned.

Yeah, I paid £299 for Diamond Brite. I know its value is debatable, but it apparently guarantees the paintwork for life. My poor old Corsa did suffer with the birds.
