Front Sidelight bulb replacement
« on: June 11, 2018, 09:00:24 AM »
Morning All,
My 53 plate, Mazda 3 TS2 has just failed its MOT on a suspension joint and front sidelight bulb.
The suspension joint is not a problem, but i have read on Mazda Technical Manual you need to remove the front bumper to change the OS sidelight bulb. Is that true, and is there a shortcut? I can remove the bumper with no problem, but I can never realign them properly when refitting.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Regards

Kenny

No need to remove anything other than the bulb holder. It's fiddly especially if you've got big hands. From memory, the lamp holder requires about a quarter turn anticlockwise, then it should pull straight back.
