17" wheels & Tyres for 2014 model
« on: June 27, 2017, 08:28:10 AM »
Hi all,

I am looking advice on fitting 17" rims to replace my stock 16's.  Has anyone else done this and fitted 215 or 225 50/R17 tyres?
Everything I have read points to 215/50/R17 typres on  17x7 PCD 5x114.30 wheels.

Am I on the right track?
thanks

I don't think anyone on here has I'm afraid. Not that I've read at this point at the moment.

All I was going to add is to make sure you get the centrebore measurement as well.

Thinking about it though the pcd you've listed is the same as the mk2 version and people use mk2 spares on mk3s so it would suggest the bolt patterns are the same.

Thanks StevenRB45 for the reply.  Wheel-size.com has been a massive help, but as always with these things I am not looking to re-invent the wheel (no pun intended!) reasonably assuming that someone has done this before me.

Will check with the local dealer if all else fails before I go and spend any money.

I just need to decide on what brand of rims to go for...

Well let us know what size you get and then if someone asks the same thing in future it'll be here.  :D
