Mode Selector question (air flow direction)
« on: May 11, 2017, 08:03:14 PM »
On my 2017 Sports Nav the climate control has two buttons related to the direction of air flow from the vents. The manual describes them as "mode selector". Despite them being marked with arrows in different directions they both appear to do exactly the same.

What am I missing?

On my gen 2 it cycles between various directions in a loop iirc. You press it either away until it reaches the one you want.

Or press auto and it will do it instead.

Thanks

They do cycle round but there are two buttons, both do exactly the same, so what's the point of two?

Pass!

I guess it's so if you know what you want and the sequence want you can get to it faster.

As said I usually press Auto..cos it's easier.
