My 3rd Mazda 3
« on: March 11, 2017, 08:26:04 AM »
Greetings All.

I am just about to take delivery of my 3rd 3.

I've sold my TS2 Nav Auto and my new one is an SE L Nav Auto in Sonic Silver.  Took a bit of a risk as I did the deal over the phone but I'm sure all will be OK.  Logic dictates that this one would be better than my TS2 which was better than my 06 regd TS. Anyone have any thoughts on the SE L Auto?

Regards . . .

A few members do have the auto and other than decreased fuel economy I've not seen any complaints other than the standard ones about dim witted infotainment which seems to be main problem with gen 3 cars at the moment.

On the positive side there appears to be nothing else ever mentioned so the cars themselves seem solid enough.

Thanks for that.  I was averaging approx 33.7 / 33.8 mpg which I thought was reasonable for the engine and gearbox combo. That was doing a 40 mile round trip around the M25 and some urban driving too. Looking forward to the DAB radio (I think it has DAB???) and also not having to listen to iPod music via an aux socket. . .

From the sounds of it you should actually get an improvement on your current mpg.  Hope swampy doesn't mind but this is a n sel nav auto iirc, although obviously usage will vary it as usual. http://www.fuelly.com/car/mazda/3/2015/9swampy/387247

I believe they added dab at the facelift so if it's a new one it should have dab.
