OK, panic over ::)
I had another go at it and it completed from where it stopped last time, so only took about 10 mins.
I put it back in the car, and all seems to be working. ;D

Question though...
Is there a way to check if I have the latest version etc?

Me again  :D

Sorry I didn't get back to say  i managed to update the Nav through my SD card reader. :-[
I guess it was a second FREE update (with-in the warranty?).

A little while  ago I had an email advising me I had an update available.
Well, due to one thing or another, family probs and illness', I didn't get around to it, until I thought of it today again and tried to update it again through the toolbox.
It said  that I can't get another free. I guess i have to pay if I want to upgrade eh?
TBO I'm not too bothered as it's working fine at the moment, but it would've been nice to have taken advantage of the free one for the future.

Anyone know a way to get it free?

Me again  :D

Hi Bob**Bump**Max

Anyone know a way to get it free?

Isn't it 3 free years, not 3 free updates? I had 4 in my 3 years; last a few weeks ago just inside the limit still doesn't know about the changes in Lewisham completed over a year ago though. Guess I'm stuck now going the wrong way around a roundabout that doesn't exist. To be fair I know the roundaboutgyratory like the back of my hand but it's still funny listening to the car lose it altogether  >:D Every cloud...
