iPhone hotspot issue
« on: August 04, 2017, 05:16:09 PM »
Hi,

Had a search for this in the forums but couldnt find anything, so wondered if anyone else had the same issue. When i turn the car on instead of it connecting automatically to my iphone 7's hotspot I have to turn the hotspot off and then back on for it to register on the list of available wifi networks. Once it does it connects no problem. Every other wifi network seems to be listed straight away, it just seems to be my phones that isnt. This is annoying as I have to get my phone out every time I plan to use the connected services and then put it away again when its decided to connect. I also have to make sure I wait a minute or so before switching the hotspot on otherwise it doesnt find it.

It connects to the bluetooth no problem every time.

Not sure if its a phone or car issue. Any ideas? When i get the chance I'll borrow the wifes android phone and see if thats any better.

Stephen.
