Corksport Mud flaps Fitted
« on: October 26, 2015, 03:50:18 PM »
Finally decided to go with the Corksport mud flaps, after a lot of deliberation between these ones and the ones by RallyArmour, which arrived from America Saturday just gone and obviously I couldn't wait to get them fitted! So after work yesterday I did just that, despite it getting dark whilst still doing them. Fairly straight forward process, except the bolts supplied being too short. Visually I think they look great, haven't yet had any rain to actually test them, but I'm sure they'll do a good job of reducing dirt and debris from splashing up the side of her.

(Just thought I would add, the dirt marks were already on the car before fitting)

 :)

With this country's weather, I'm sure it won't take long for you to find out.  :)

Great choice. Rallyarmors and corksports are built to last, wouldn't of went with anything different. You'll tend to find they scrape on certain types of speed bumps, especially with eibachs on, but again they're built to last. I've had mine on a little over 4 months and still no signs of wear.

Neat, let us know how they perform over speed bumps and do they create much spray?

Cheers for all the good comments guys!

As for speed bumps, they seem to clear the majority, but steeper/higher bumps the mud flaps do make some contact. However, they are built from strong, durable plastic so this isn't an issue. As for the spray, I'll let you know once I have a drive in some rain.

do they create much spray?

Finally driven in some rain, knew it wouldn't be a long wait with this country's weather lol, I must admit spray is reduced quite significantly behind the vehicle. Also, they seem to be doing a good job of stopping dirt/water from splashing up the side of my car. All in all, a good investment I would say!  :)
