225/45 tyres

Has anyone fitted 225/45/R17 tyres on stock 7 inch wheels,would they buldge out too much?I want to fit GY Eagle F1 Asym 2 tyres,can you help me in my decision?

No they won't buldge out, they'll be fine.

Ok , sorry for digging this up  ???, but I thought that it would help someone if they decide to put the 225/45/R17 tyres on the stock MK2 17x7inch wheel/rim  :)

So finally bought a set of Continental Premium Contact 6 tyres in 225/45/R17 91V spec , which I think is spot on for tyre load and speed rating  8)

Here are the images of my car , I took the pictures of all four corners , stock wheels , stock everything  ;) :










I'm very plessed with those tyres , they're almost twice as comfortable as stock Toyo R32s , but yet better in dry and wet handling/braking :)

Tbf on replacing the R32s on mine I rapidly formed the opinion they were slightly better than bare rims.
