Should I wax door shuts and body work covered by doors?
« on: September 01, 2014, 06:50:55 AM »
Would you recommend waxing the door shuts and body work covered by doors when they are shut?

Generally I have always done so, but on the odd occasion this has caused the doors to creak on the rubber seals when driving on uneven roads.

Your comments would be appreciated guys.

Hi Google, I have always kept the door shuts clean and waxed on all my cars.I had this creaking noise when on uneven roads etc, I cured this by wiping the rubber seals with furniture polish.
One point about keeping things clean is you don't get the muck on your clothes getting in and out.
