Evening the RX8 alloy wheel project has come to an end and here is the final results I hope you like
Once I had the tyres fitted yesterday morning I went to work and fitted the wheels myself copper greased all that needed to be and took it for a test run and I'm really impressed with the handling it feels exactly the same as it did on the 17s. I love how they look too but I'm biased. That's it folks not doing anything else just the general Maintainance and cleaning duties for now.

Thanks, I must say I was originally going for the BL model because I did and still do love the look of them, it was my partner who liked the BM model better and having to make a choice plus what we got for the mini pushed us in the Gen 2 direction, with us keeping a car for usually 4 years+ It seemed the better option, and saying that I really do love the car.
Have you looked for anything yet?

Your 3 is looking great so far! I'm thinking of putting rx8 alloys on my 3 but I'm worried about rubbing. what were fitment issues like for you?

Good morning DM no issues at all of clearance they were/are a straight fittment apart from new tyres being fitted of course (as they are 18" alloys) plus I've had my 3 lowered by 30mm on Eibach springs and still no issue of rubbing. I would say ( biased of course) the best alloy option the 3 could have

Your car makes me want to lower mine...it's amazing how a few small mods really tidy a 3 up.
