Thanks I loved it when I first went to see it, I was looking for a white one originally but when I saw this colour in person the white took the back seat.
I did look at and test drive one exactly the same but in the guise of the 1.6 sport from a private seller in Doncaster I had seen it whilst driving around with for sale in the window then clocked it on a well known car advertising site and the price was to good to be true, it was only 19,000 miles and the guy was only the second owner it had full service history and was perfect..!!?? Then came the bombshell the guy seemed really genuine and said he knew of nothing wrong with the car and was selling due to company car arriving soon this conversation we had on the second visit again I said I would like to get it checked out so firstly I went home and did a vehicle check (can't remember which one) but it came up as a cat D! I rang the guy and he said he had no idea, he bought the car in November 2012 I told him it had been categorised in October 2012!!! Less to say I walked away relieved having done a check. And eventually bought the one above from JCT600 in Leeds.

Two questions that instantly sprint to mind...

1, Why do all the cars in that garage seem to be silver?

and

2, Is that a hearse in the first pic?

Nice car too BTW.  O0

How did you rate them?
I thought they were pushy typical car sales but I liked the car and it was a good buy.
A bit of advice to anyone going to a dealership or garage to buy a car, if your offered the insurance where you get the value of you car back if it's wrote off in x amount of years ( I can't remember at the moment what it's called) or the tire and alloy cover etc STOP! and get a quote else where first ( I went to my local insurance broker) I got the same cover in fact better through them at a third of the price.

I initially found JCT600 very good, they gave me a good trade in value for my Mazda 3 Sport 150 and as there were on 2 of the new model left in the entire UK I went to them.

I chose different Alloys which were fitted and when I picked the car up and drove back up North I decided to look at the standard wheels only to find all 4 of them damaged where they had removed the tyres to put on the new rims.

Eventually after much arguing they agreed to replace the damaged wheel with a new set.  I said to them what about the buckled new wheel on the car that you damaged when fitting the tyre?

I was told that it was nothing to do with them and that they wouldn't replace it........I got my angry head on and said I couldn't believe they were quibbling over £50 which is what the wheels were costing at that time.......all of a sudden his manner changed and he offered a set of 5 rims like the ones we had fitted to the car instead of four replacement original ones........it was a no brainer really as I now have 2 sets of identical wheels and a full size spare  ;D

Don't think they are the best of dealers but my wife did get a bunch of flowers and half a dozen free range eggs from the sales man so happy days  :D

Good Choice!

I've just bought one practically identical albeit on a 59 plate. In fact this is my first post, i've been meaning to post in the new members section but I want to take some good quality snaps before I do. Got to say i'm loving the car so far, came from driving a 1.8T A4 but the abundance of toys, practicality and improvement in MPG more than makes up for the loss in performance in my opinion. Love the styling and colour too. Looking forward to seeing how it look's on the new springs!

Cheers!

Oooooh the Old (Fresh of course) Egg manoeuvre wins 'em over every time!!!  ;D
Yes I could relate other things I wasn't happy with but in all in all I got the car i really wanted. But glad to hear your holding out payed off. And I've just looked at your pics of the rims you have on and they are the dogs, they remind me of the turbine blades in a jet engine. One question tho have you wrapped your spoiler, sprayed it or swapped it for a black one? It really stands well I like it.

Hello Trickster welcome and thank you for your admiration ,,,,, for the Mazda of course. Yes I'm definitely with you on all of those points and am now really enjoying the car, if you've read some of my other posts you will see I was dubious at first as having made the right choice (not the car more my psyche) but I now know I did. I still love looking back at the car (sad) whilst walking away and admiring it lol.! I love the lines and shape of them. Would be great to see pics of your mazda when you get chance and would be good to see others putting there's on to as they join. Getting the springs done on the 16th May and will post pics as soon as I can I will post before and after shots when it's settled.
Great chatting to you all.  ;)

Mogly,

The rear spoiler was a brand new Black Mica one that I got off of fleabay.

I tried to get the one that was only fitted to the 1.6 Venture as it mirrors the shape of the front spoiler and would have looked even better on the car, but I wasn't going to spend £467 to get one so the one from fleabay was purchased for £180  :D

I still have the standard one off my car which I could sell if anyone wanted a spare one to paint  ;)

Why don't you put up it in the  Buy/Sell section with a picture. I'm sure someone would take it from you.
