I can't recollect anybody actually doing that. Are you thinking of using a Sports instrument panel ?  Do you have the necessary wiring harness ?
I don't think the TS spec came with a rev counter / wiring,  so how are you going to get that to work ?

I was think of using a sport cluster but the main thing i was unsure about was if i could just plug is straight into my car and it would work...... Nothing is ever that easy...

I think unless you are prepared to accept that the some of the instruments would not work then this is a modification that is going nowhere.
The alternative would be to change the wiring harness with all the nightmares that would involve. Then there is the assumption that the ECU has the necessary program to send the data to the instrument.

Sorry

the immobiliser system will need to be reconfigured to work with the new instrument cluster. Hence you'd need to take it to a dealer to get that reprogrammed.
