Admin costs

Just moved house.  Wife got charged by here insurance company £30 for change of address, mine nothing.  Why is there a difference?

Some do and some dont, Ive been charged £35 for a number plate change, Ive also almost been charged per alteration once when I neded two things changing!

(by the way I understood where you were comming from with your locked thread) Its a small friendly forum with some good info.

Found this out the hard way too about an admin fee when I moved house. Charged me £25 to change my address details, then worked out I had to pay an additional £50 as the area postcode i lived in was a higher risk! Its only a mile down the road from my old place and the street is quite too :(

No doubt the person on the other end was wearing a mask. Daylight robbery comes to mind.
