The plastic on the door pillar
« on: August 15, 2008, 09:50:40 AM »
The wind caught the door and it caught a wall - the black plastic is only thin and now I can see the paint below it - can you get a replacement ? >:(

I had this,
Replacment door strips ordered in for next day.
They are a little expensive for what they are buy I tried 2 signwrithing companys but couldn't get a matching colour.
Think the long strip from the mirror to top corner of the door is £14 so that'll give you an idea.

Here to help,  ;D
Hope it goes of for you, you've missed out on the warm weather so you'll need a hairdryer or the like to heat the old stuff to take it off. don't try a blade or you'll end up marking the paing underneath and you'll see the mark through the tape.
Also, you'll need to take the bottom window strip off the door but it just pop's up with a putty knife or the likes.
