phone slipped below centre console
« on: March 10, 2018, 08:31:00 AM »
I had my phone sat on top of the cupholder lid/cover next to handbrake. Inadverteantly caught cover as I went to pick it up and the phone slid down the gap next to the lid as it opened. How does the centre trim come out so I can retrieve it from underneath. The lid now wont close as my phone is blocking it's movement?

Did you see how they did it? Or did they tell you?

I saw & helped out. A bit of brute strength and knowing where to pull to move the trim slightly so phone could be retrieved with finger tips. Very helpful mechanic who wouldn't accept a penny for his time either which is always a bonus. I have used them before for part replacements and other stuff and will do so again.
