Not entirely sure where this goes but anyone noticed the car breaking down in the singing baby ad is a Mazda 3?

Though why anyone would want a car that colour is a big question  :) :) :)

If I recall correctly they replaced that 3 with a 2 in the more than advert in more recent years.

I can see the advert for the colour now, popular car in a stand out colour, was cat D now repaired, more than lie..

If you want a mat to match the one in the foot well, I've got one lying on the garage floor. I bought a pair for my SAAB 96 around 1971. They either last for ever, or tear along the rectangles. They also gather prodigious amounts of water on wet or snowy days - regular bailing out required.

Oddly enough they were on the floor of my dad's car many many years ago.

They were gifted to me when I got my 1st car in 2003, and have been in every car I've had. Even used under the tyres when I got stuck in snow.

I tried mine in snow once when I got stuck going uphill in very deep snow around 0730 on 1st January 1978 if memory serves me right. I came off the pavement I'd been on - so much snow, it was impossible to tell road from pavement - and dropped into the gutter - the extra 6" stopped me in my tracks. Tried the mats, and after retrieving them twice when they got spat out the back, gave up and resorted to digging myself out, which, due to the amount of fresh snow, involved lying on my belly and dragging the snow out by the armful. It was the only time either of my SAABs got stuck in snow, though my 99 did give up once when the front wheels lost traction as the front began to lift on packed snow under the car.

Such were the perils of working 24/7/365 shifts.
