Squeeky suspension.....
« on: May 11, 2008, 01:10:38 PM »
Recently, last week since it has become hot my rear passanger side suspension is squeeking when going over small bumps in the road. Literally sounds like there is a small mouse in there! Anyone else had this? Does it go away or is it a fix job for the garage?

Usually stuff like that is a dried out (rubber) bush. The dealer should be able to sort it out

Oh, no its only minor. (if it is a bush). Bushes usually squeak later on in the cars life. Should be an easy fix. But identifying the correct bush might be tricky.

Well its wear and tear, but not at low mileage like your 3. So I'd say yes, don't let them oil the bushes as it will be a temporary fix. LOL - I might be completely wrong!!

Could just a the roll bar clamp loose or something easy to fix like that. Good luck.

i've got the same problem.. except in my case its on going. i had colindale mazda replace the rear dampers in hope to sort this problem but nope.. i fink the problem lies in the springs... or at least on the rubber discs which the springs rest onto.

mention mr doobaree to Ryan when you go get it checked out. tell him i have the same problem as urs and its still not sorted..

cheers bud ;)

Think it was Ryan i spoke to. Sai das we all know is a recognised problem by mazda. Aparently the isasues with the near side shocks are well known and mazda have modified new ones to replace the deffective ones. The earlier MPS have the old ones. So the lad put them on order for me to be fitted in 2 weeks. (that is the soonest i can do it!)
