Lights
« on: December 01, 2017, 09:32:07 AM »
Hi,

I am having a brain freeze today but I have a Mazda 3 2008 and the park lights are not working but the dims are. This appears to be on the same bulb so is it?

Both sides are gone when I turn the lights on to the first position.

Cheers

Can't say for certain on your particular car, but the parking lights (sidelights) usually have their own bulbs.  Are the rears and the rear reg plate lights working on the same first turn of the switch?  Normally light fuses are done side by side ie one fuse will do the left side front and rear sidelights, another fuse will do the right side, and one of them will also do the reg plate light.

Cheers Tall333, yes all lights are working except the sidelights and the number plate light. If one was working I could match it up but both are gone. I will look again and see.

If memory serves, the side lights are in the main beam unit at the bottom. I think it's a pair w5w bulbs.
