Hi
My wife's Mazda 3 drivers side  floor, and now drivers side rear seat floor is swimming in water.  I pulled back the carpet expecting to find a hole in the floor, however I found what looked like a drain pipe which goes through the centre console and out the side of the drivers footwell.

Unfortunately one of the while clips on which should hold the drain in place is broken.

Is this a drain?

If so does anyone know the part number I need to replace it?

I'm just gonna use lots of sealant to hold it in place for the time being.

Can't say I've noticed a drain on my old car, but that's not to say it's not there. Is it definitely rainwater and not coolant? If you're sure it's rainwater, you could check the door seals. Give them a good coating of chalk or talcum then give the doors a blast with a hose. Any leak path should show up quite clearly.

You could also try a sniff or rub check. If it's coolant, you should probably be able to smell it and it should have a slightly oily/soapy feel if you rub your wetted finger/thumb together.

The rear washer pipe runs along the roof over the doors behind the headlining.
