connector/harness broken- how to fix it?
« on: May 14, 2017, 11:26:11 AM »
I don't know what are these called but it broke off as the cables were too brittle. It was nearby where the oil filter is and could be for starter or alternator as car is not starting now. Any ideas fellas??

Thanks.

anyone? I just want to take out the stuck cable part, rejoin & try to put the connector back. There's a tab on one side  with word "push" but nothing happens when tried to push with screwdriver.

I cut the f***** in half with blade, pulled out the broken cable + metal tab which got broken and put back the cable from loom with small modification. Car started up fine but it's not super tight fit and may come off. At least I would know the reason. I think it's just the ground connection but without knowing connector type's name, it's hard to search for part.
