mazda 3 04 plate rust on paintwork

Hiya

I have above car, but down by botton of front door drivers side inbweeen wheel arch i have some "Scabbing"

I got the paint in the car but i have never done anything like this.

Any pointers on prepping spraying etc?
Smoke me a kipper, I`l be back for brekfast..

Depends on how bad it actually is.   A minor amount (say no more than a couple of square inches) could be sanded down, prepped with an anti rusting agent, primered and resprayed. 
Anything bigger needs more attention. Have you looked on YouTube for ideas ?

It also depends on if it's come from the inside out in which case paints not gonna do it or has been caused by surface damage so you can sand back to good metal.
