CX-7 any good?
« on: October 04, 2010, 11:06:06 AM »
Does anyone know what the CX-7 is like, my friend who has a top of the range CRV is thinking about a CX-7 as her next car after seeing one on holiday.  She loved the look of it and the fact that she has never ever seen one so they must be rare!

So because its a Mazda she ask me who replied.........I dont know but may know someone who does!!

Any issues?

Not sure on any issues, but we looked at the 2.3t a month or so ago.

Decided that we would wait a while.

The 2.2d replaced the petrol version as it was better mpg. They hold their price well against the petrol ones.

no hahahah

mummy has one and then next door followed up, its like mazda centre here with my 2 and the mx5 of next door also.

i would say they are ok for pointless 4x4 sized cars. got to be in black and also lots of weird chrome/grey bits all over the new one which looks pants.

Yes I do, the CX-7 is great.  Had mine for a month now.  Bought for £6500, 52K miles, black.  Drives lovely.  Choices were the CX-7 or 3 MPS.  Decided I didn't need a 6 second car so went for luxury & comfort.  Everyone who has seen it says it's a nice looking car and a bargain.  Although mostly, people have never seen or heard of it, which is good.  Only downside, MPG.  It's a thirsty car.  Town driving 20mpg or less.  Combined, I managed just over 23mpg.  I don't really do that many miles so fuel costs are a minor issue.  Will be taking it for a full health check and possibly a tune if it will improve mpg and or performance.
