It does look better than the whip aerial.

My mk2 aerial:

Signal properties seem very good, certainly better than the longer aerial on the ds3.

It's nice putting your stamp on a new car, even if it's just little things that you'll notice.

Yeah. Wont be going ott with the ad on's. I've got wind deflectors and a front bumper trim on order. That'll be it then, I think. Was contemplating dropping the ride height, but with my regular visits to mountain bike centres with their abnormal car parks, I think I'm better off keeping it stock

I keep getting the lowering fairy whispering in my ear, they do look good with some low. On balance it's whether I prefer to be comfortable on what passes for roads round here or look good. But I've caught the nose in multistorys at stock height but perhaps I need to slow down more.

The square plates, set of hekos and it'll be a nice oem+ kinda look. There's always things like fitting an MPS spoiler or German reverse light to even the rear up if you want to go a bit further.

Looking at the link in Willpower's post #10 took me back. Who can forget (even if they tried) Samp!?

A little update.

Decided to smarten up the interior a bit. So bought a new gear gaiter with blue stitching to match the blue on the seats and door cards

Also had my Heko wind deflectors delivered, but will fit them on the weekend

Ok. So I couldn't wait till the weekend

I've also ordered the gear knob in the link in my previous post

Yes. That is a fridge/freezer at the end of my driveway. Just waiting for the council to pick it up

Fitted a cheap air intake. Not expecting any bhp increase, but it does give a nice roar

Looks canny and if it sounds nice it's all you can expect induction to do without any supporting mods.

Good thing about induction rather than exhaust is it only makes a lot of noise of you're on it rather than being loud all the time...bit more stealth if you don't want the wrong sort of attention!

As a Gen 2 owner it does look similar to the antenna on my car. :-)

Ok. I'll rename it a Gen 2 antenna.
