Warning Lights on Mazda 323 Help!!!
« on: September 26, 2013, 11:29:50 AM »
I have a 1999 (Y Reg) Uk Mazda 323 1.8 SE Manual , I have just replaced the intake hose as it had perished causing the car to run rough, and now runs Ok, the problem is that now the ABS TCS TCS Off and Handbrake lights stay on when I start/run the car, on a couple of occasions they have gone out when running but most of the time stay on. Have looked at various sites on the web and all postings seem to be from about 2001-3 regarding a faulty unit in the car, spoke to our local Mazda dealer today who said check the brake fluid as that would cause the Handbrake light to be on - no mention of others though, level ok, his then said it could be the ABS unit 'I can see the pound signs flashing up'
Can anyone offer any advice before I bite the bullet and take it to local Mazda dealer to run diagnostic check (£130+Vat), trying to avoid getting involved in paying out more than the car is worth.
Thanks
Ray
