AA-RAC-Others or Mazda Assistance
« on: January 17, 2014, 11:09:22 AM »
Been with the AA for 20 years membership expired December 2013 when we both purchased our Mazda's both with Mazda assistance. I had always assumed that this was covered by the RAC. I learned today that the RAC are no longer involved as it is run by an agency. Has anybody had any experience with Mazda Assistance are they any good and reliable, how are they compared to the major companies. Do they attend very quickly if required. All help appreciated.
Current 2010 Mk2 MPS Standard no modifications yet.

Hi Mac42,

You may have to wait a while for a reply to this question. I cannot recall much discussion on the forum from anyone who had to call on Mazda Assistance. Not sure what the explanation would be other than the better than average reliability of Mazda cars.

I had reason to call them once, but it was a few years ago. The support they gave me was exemplary as I was on holiday in Ireland.

If they have parted company with the RAC since then I cannot give an opinion.
