MPS INSURANCE
« on: December 12, 2009, 10:01:41 PM »
Not due to pick up our brand new mps till next week. Used confused.com for an insurance search and got a decent quote from M&S. I am 39yr old with 3 yrs no claims, additional driver, female,30yr old with 2 claims in last 5 yrs. Came out at £540 fully comp, with £150 excess. Not too bad imo  ;D

how old are you then? You don't say in your profile...

If you think 29 is old, you must be about 12!!!  ;D ;)

i priced insurance for the new mps the other week after i had a test drive, and this is no joke. ive 5 years no claims, im 27. used confussed.com. cheapest i got was 1,120. next cheapest was 1,450 and that was with 3GRAND excess. couldnt believe it. insurance is far more expensive in northern ireland, esp in my part of n.i. i would get it cheaper im sure if i rang direct line who im with now but just done a quick search for an idea.

I renewed my insurance a few weeks ago using the Admiral multi-car policy it worked out incredibly cheap.

Around £700 with £400 excess (off the top of my head), Not bad for 21 with only 3 years NCB.  ;D

The confused and go compare sites are rubbish imo, i got quoted 3grand for my insurance, they are crap the best bet is to just phone the companies up.
