LOL  They are frightened because the MPS would show the others up so much, that they would not be able to do a comparison.  O0

Whats wrong with a black MPS?!?  ;) ;D

Also, I think we agreed somewhere that the plural of MPS was MPI!!!  ;D

Seriously though, I think the MPS would give the RS a good go. Probably would lose out by a few tenths but then it is a lot pricier.
... and the R26??? Yes its damn quick, but its essentially a track day car with road tax and number plates!

I actually looked at the R26 to see what its 0-60 time is and its 6.0seconds which is 0.1 faster than the MPS, so what the hell is the point of buying a car that's more expensive that's got less equipment for 0.1 of a second, you cant drive like your on a  track on the roads so i don't see the point of it.

Oh and thanks for putting me right about the plural of MPS :P

there's no comparison between the R26 and an MPS. One is a track car and the other isnt. For the same reason i cant understand why they compare it to an RS? They shouldve used the regular Cup model.

EDIT: I mean R26.R, that's the stripped out one.  If they tested a regular R26 then it's a fair comparison.

As above. You cant compare the R26 to other hot hatches as it is a track car! It does not even have a propper rear window for god sake!!! If i had 20k to spend on a track car I would not invest in a megane, thats for sure...enough about that.

now on to the RS....

Buy a MPS, slap on anti roll bars front an back, map it and slap in a decent intake and hey presto a RS beater....oh and pocket the change ;D I appreciate top gear dont take mods in to account but us everyday people do.

As above again, the better the MPS secret the better for all of us. Do you really want RS type people knocking on the forum door? Long live the MPS and its

Rant over....
