MX5 battery
« on: July 30, 2008, 09:08:22 AM »
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp

My battery has gone on the Mazda (11yrs old) and no one can give me a modern battery that fits. Apparently the battery is a gell battery? and they are nearly £100. Anyone kow how to get one of these cheaper.

Someone talked about converting the area in the boot to take a 063 battery but I am not sure this will work as all modern batteries seem too talk compared to mine and therefore would not allow the pre formed cover to go back over.
Anyone got a smart idea?
