mazda breakdown support?
« on: December 11, 2017, 07:35:16 PM »
I'm just out of my 3 year warranty, and had the Mazda breakdown card, which is now finished I guess.

What/who do you guys use for breakdown cover?

Bank Account, Halifax uses the AA. It's 12 quid a month. Which works out a little more expensive than full price roadside, homestart and relay is direct from them. But it also includes travel insurance, mobile phone insurance and home emergency cover, all of which I've used.

Typically I also get exactly the same level of breakdown cover free from work..and haven't called either in 5 years. But my wife used it on the Micra once and was extremely surprised when they turned up 6 minutes after the initial call..you'd be lucky to get an ambulance that quick.

Exactly as above, but via Barclays, using RAC.  Plus all the extras , Travel ins, phone ins etc.   Plus it's full cover, in fact I get more than I was paying for when I paid RAC direct.

We had RAC family cover on our cars in addition the Mazda cover on my '3'. As my warranty ends in 2 weeks, and the RAC cover was due for renewal (15 years membership),we checked costs & cover and signed up with Green Flag and have saved a fortune against the RAC costs.
