Air bag Warning light
« on: October 25, 2017, 09:32:18 AM »
My '3' has just started to pulse the air bag warning light on and off, on the dashboard. This is 2 pulses followed by 4 pulses. Any idea what this could mean? The dealer where the car was purchased, has ceased supporting Mazda's and is no longer allowed to perform warranty repairs, or have access too the latest software updates etc., with servicing temporally being provided by another local chain, until Mazda sort  this out. The substitute dealer is mainly Ren_NO, and Seat, and they have 1 Mazda Tech who has been transferred across and they cannot see the car for 3 weeks!

Usually seatbelt pretensioners and side airbags are also part of the airbag warning system, so check the wires under the seats (or anywhere really) haven't been partially dislodged by a clumsy foot or something.
