I don't know the answer, but surely it must say something in the handbook about this. Tyre rotation is not a garage specific process and is well within the capabilities of the average DIY'er  such as yourself. So I would imagine there should be some reference to resetting the light somewhere.

It really makes me wonder about the progress of technology. Do we really need such a light ?  What have millions of motorists done about this issue before the provision of ; let's face it ; a totally unnecessary warning. In the handbook for my car (printed 2004) there is a specific paragraph about the need for tyre rotation and how to achieve this. Have they stopped including this ?

Another little light to cause confusion and worry. Making some lesser experienced drivers panic. Do I now have take the car to a garage and have to spend more money !! ? ? ?   What do I do ? What do I do  ? ?
Or do we now have a society of unaware and inept drivers, who just know how to point the car, press the pedal and that's it ;  and know nothing about the basic maintenance, safety and use of this 21st century machine.

Has it not just come up because at some point it's been set at an arbitrary number? If the gen 3 is anything like these 2 if you go into the same part of the computer you find time to next service there will be a tyre rotation option. It should allow you to set when the warning goes off or switch it off entirely.

Like the ability to adjust the volume of the indicators or make the car sound a loud buzzer and display a warning light over a given speed just because it's there doesn't mean you have to use it.

Well, I've just got the warning up on the dash (with the little spanner) saying time to rotate tyres.
So guess I'll be sw2apping over soon.
Question?...
How do I get rid of the warning with the spanner light once I've done it?

Mine came up about 2 months ago, on the display screen select Applications (Apps left hand icon ) then select Maintenance  you will notice it will have a warning sign by this, then select Tyre Rotation and there is a reset there,  I didn't bother to rotate my tyres
Made it to retirement  :)
