Hi dean yep appears to be mazda alloys are susceptible to early corrosion. As speedy says look for a new set and keep the old ones as a winter set. Or get yours refurbed, I have just had a set done (powdercoated) 18" for £180. So ring around a few power coating companies and get some quotes and see who people can recommend. People do sometimes go to wheel/dent repair guys but sometime by the time you've paid for the repair to alloy/s it would have been just as economical to get a full set done properly plus having them just sprayed again is not as long lasting as powdercoating as the process strips the alloy of the corrosion by being acid dipped leaving a clean corrosion free alloy to work with. And doing it this way you could always look at an alternative colour giving your 3 an individual look  O0

As suspected Mazda don't seem particularly interested. Just wondered does anyone know the part code for the standard alloy wheels on a 2009 Takara (not the MPS version?)
